DINING: Kitchen Staff
We have been fortunate to have one of the most talented kitchen staffs in the area. Some of our staff have been with us since we opened nearly two decades ago. Our food is one of the many reasons we have so many repeat guests. The quality and presentation of the meals is always very nice and colorful. Many items, not all, are organic in nature and purchased when possible--although we do not guarantee this is the case 100% of the time.
Whenever possible the Inn raises many of its herbs and fresh vegetables each Spring and Summer. All meats/seafood are hand-selected from a vendor that we have been doing business with nearly two decades. Always the best in quality; we have never been disappointed.
NOTE: We are the ONLY dining/lodging/spa establishment known anywhere to NOT have a commercial food service bring us our food in preparation of all meals. This means that the Innkeeper and the kitchen staff shop every week for all ingredients for all meals.
We are on the only establishment that offers many different homemade sorbets as course number three. Soups vary in selection and are delicious. The salads offered to you change nightly and offer as many as seven different types of greens with many great items such as different cheeses, pickles, vine-ripen tomatoes, baby corn, artichokes, different olives and many other surprises.
The entrees are truly the best. We are the only establishment to offer High-End Beef and French-Cut Lamb Chops among many other specialties. All meats are fresh from our long-term, area butcher. A well-presented entree is most welcoming as it is presented by our friendly service staff--some of which have been serving our guests since the beginning of our existence.
